ECEC Annual ConferenceBeing an ECEC member means a discounted cost to our annual conference!
NetworkingThroughout any ECEC event you have the opportunity to connect and collaborate with early childhood educators. We have 10 Regional Councils allowing teachers from across Alberta to connect.
Awards and GrantsThere are three annual awards offered through the ECEC recognizing advocates and those dedicated to enhancing and improving early childhood education. Grants of up to $1000.00 are also available to assist in research or innovative classroom programming.

Access to the ECEC JournalThe ECEC publishes an annual journal with current philosophy, research, and pedagogy tailored to pre-kindergarten to grade 3 classrooms. As a member you have access to current AND archived journals.
IEI NewsletterThe Issues, Events, and Ideas newsletter provides early childhood educators with implementation strategies, book reviews, and upcoming P.D. opportunities in Alberta. As a member you have access to current AND archived newsletters.

How to Become a Member
All active, student, associate and life members of the Association can become members of one or more specialist councils, but the cost for membership varies, and only active and associate members can hold office on specialist council executive committees and vote at annual general meetings.
